Darhl and Brenda had their mid October wedding ceremony, with about 60 guests attending, in the sheepshed.
It was a lovely day for a wedding. Along with the floral work Peter and Drew added to the ceremony site we added burlap bows tied to alternating chairs up the aisle
Cocktails between the barn and sheepshed followed - we served our own cider both hot and cold along with cheese trays prepared in advance by the wedding party. Inside the barn we were set to go with ivory on ivory linens.
Michael Hoy was the caterer for this full service meal. We set out one Astica Red and one Astica White per table and dinner was then under way with settings, simple -but elegant in their simplicity, as below
The gift/sign in table was set up as below
Some of Peter and Drews other work included the following
and the bar - ready to go with Pam and John at their service -
Late night included our popcorn and also cheese and crackers supplied by the wedding party. There were still lots of guests to enjy these items asAndy Forgie was the DJ kept eveyone in a celebratory mood - Andy is a perennial favourite because of his ability to mix well excecuted live guitar work with a very broad range of recorded material.
The bar closed at 1230 and the house lights went on at 1 AM leaving everyone with a good impression - as Darhl and Brenda kindly commented - 'everyone has commented on how magical the venue was!'
Thank you Darhl and Brenda - and best wishes from all of us here - John, Pam, Elizabeth, Noreen, Lynne, Kailey and Mark
